It has been reported that the amount of hate groups has been increasing since the economic downturn. It has been reported by the SPLC which is a civil rights group that such radicalism has been increasing due to a various number of factors. These factors include rising public debt, growing recession, bankers bailouts and misinformation over the reform for health care.
There have already been signs these radical hate groups will turn to violence. There have already been six murders of law officers by these extremists according to the reports filed. There is a group that has been recently arrested for a string of cases that have involved bombs. Another case where a man has been charged with killing two black men and planning on killing as many Jewish people as possible has been arrested.
The SPLC reported that it has not witnessed this amount of hate gropus since the early 1990’s and the Oklahoma bombing which left hundreds dead. Last month a message was posted online by a man who killed himself and injured many others in the process saying that violence is not only the solution but it is the only solution.
