There have been a lot of complaints against toll collectors in New Jersey. Yet, only some of them are punished. No, we are not saying that they are above the law, but some of them sure think that way. Many toll workers have found to shout abuses and slurs of racist nature on the motorbikes and cars passing by. Although many of the comments made, were for fun, some of them had a deep connection with race and ethnicity. If you gave $100, you can be sure to be abused .Many times, it has happened that foul and dirty language is used, even in front of children. Some people think that New Jersey should get rid of the toll workers and get an automated system to collect the toll.
If you want to pass through the toll, you can do it at your own risk. You should not be surprised if some racial abuse is used the toll workers.
